Online Raiding System
Hi Guys,
With the growing concern of GroupCalendar not working too well and groups being split between signing up in-game or on the forums, I’ve introduced a raiding module to allow us to organize daily raids online in addition to measuring attendance.
To access this system, please go to the forum at http://www.solguild.net/forum and create a user account (mandatory). Once everything is setup and you can view/post on the forums, follow the following procedure:
- Visit http://www.solguild.net/raid/ and login from that page or login from the forums
- Press on Create -> Character
- Fill in all the required information (please make sure it’s 100% correct)
- Once complete, you will get a confirmation screen with all your characters
- Click on Home to go back to the main homepage to view the current calendar
- On the day that has the event you want to attend, you will see the icon of the raid and a small pencil next to it.
- Click on the pencil, select which character from the dropdown can join, your role and your status.
- Choose Available to confirm attendance
- Choose In Queue to go on standby if raid is already full (or other priority members get to go first)
- Choose Unavailable so your raid leader can find you a replacement
- You’re done!
Please note that we will soon make this system mandatory and it will be the main point of access to raiding. Please get yourself acquainted with how to use it and get in touch with me if you (in-game) if you require any help.
